Just 2 things i picked up over the weekend. Since i devoured the new true blood book and i like reading Charlaine Harris i thought i would pick up some more of her books to see how i like them! 

I started watching gossip girl online, and its was too frustrating looking for links, i decided to invest in the series, i will be keeping my eye out for anymore cheap deals on the later series!

Removing Acrylic

So i had my nails done over one week ago and they were staring to annoy me, so i looked online at removal suggestions.

I went to my local Supermarket and picket up a nail polish remover (with acetone) that was also for removing acrylic nails, and a buffer and nail file.

It said to soak cotton pads in the remover and then wrap them on your nails in tin foil.

I just heat up some water and put it in a bowl, and put another bowl on top of that one with the remover. 

I soaked my nails in it and eventually they started to come off, i used about half a bottle on one hand! So for the next hand i cut all the nails down as much as i could, and then i did loosen them slightly by pushing a file underneath them, and after they soaked for a few minutes i pulled them straight off. 

My nails on both hands are in some state, but thats just what happens! I won't be getting my nails done for a while! 

The first hand took forever i even filed them through to the acrylic as i had gelish over the top of the acrylic!

Just can't get enough!

Some of these shows have a few seasons under their belts, like The Big Bang Theory, The Good Wife, Pretty Little Liars, and Some have newly started like Smash and GCB. 

I would have to say Smash is becoming my new favourite show, if anyone has not heard of it its about broadway musicals, and a show being created about Marilyn Monroe called Bombshell, its about the dancers, producers, writers and directors! Its really good, sort of a grown up Glee!

Im not going to do a run down of all the shows, but there def worth a watch, from comedy to horror, theres something for everyone! 

Acrylic Nails

I have a friend that does acrylic nails, and the last time i had mine done was

nearly 2 years ago, so i thought i would get them done.

She put white tips on my nails and used clear acrylic to do a french tip, but then she used Gelish nail

"polish" which hardens under a uv lamp for the purple! The glitter nail is just Gelish coated in glitter and she added a cute bow on top! 

Ive had them on for 6 days days now, but they are lasting well!
